Mangaluru, Aug 7: MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said that corruption in every state government department has crossed the limits and the Congress government has opened the shop of corruption.
Speaking to reporters, Nalin said, “Former chief minister of Karnataka H D Kumaraswamy rightly said that corruption has reached its peak in the state. Public is unable to go to any government offices. Complaints are heard that some crores need to be given to the officials to get the work done. Rates are fixed for every post and transfer of officials.
“Development works are not taking place in any of the departments due to the implementation of guarantee schemes. Even deputy chief minister D K Shivakumar said that it is not possible to take up any development work now. We have seen what happened in Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Where the state is being taken by Siddaramaiah?
“The state will not get developed due to guarantees. Te Congress, which ruled the country for 60 years, could not provide basic infrastructure to villages including road and schools. The railway department has not seen any development. But after Narendra Modi has become the Prime Minister, there are lots of development in the whole country. People have kept their faith on him,” he said.
