Dubai, Aug 4: Middle East's most popular singing reality show 'Gulf Voice of Mangalore' has already completed two seasons, and is now getting ready for the third, which will be held in Doha - Qatar next year.

Mangalore Konkans Dubai, who hosted the Gulf Voice of Mangalore season 2 in the year 2010 will now host an evening of entertainment featuring winners of the earlier two seasons.

The winner of GVOM 2008 show Vinay Lewis from Kuwait (now in India), runner-up Dony Correa from Dubai, winners of GVOM 2010 male and female titles Ivan Fernandes and Gladys Lorena, runners-up Warren D'Souza from Kuwait (male) and Preema Pinto from Doha (female) will be participating in the event to entertain music buffs with Konkani hit numbers at the Sheikh Rashid Auditorium on September 30, 2011.

The show will also feature the Konkani play 'Bhangar Monis' written by the late Cha Fra D'Costa, to be performed by a professional troupe from Mangalore.

Speaking to Daijiworld, Linus Moras, the event co-ordinator said that this event is being organised to encourage and promote Gulf Voice of Mangalore stars who had done a great job during the entire event both times. This would inspire budding singers too, he said, and added that the event will also feature a Konkani play of quality to be staged by a Mangalore troupe.

Details of the event will be updated regularly on the official web portal of the event www.daijiworld.com
