I would like to congratulate again the parish priests and the parishioners of Bejai Parish on launching the Centenary jubilation.
I regret not having been in M´lore and attending the celebration among the parishioners.
Fr Vincent Furtado is right all believers need to cherish the faith, live the faith and transfer the same faith to the next generation.
And it is important to see the poor and needy and I know so much is done by the parish to help.
After one hundred years the world is changing and Christians shall use the latest technology, social websites, the internet, media to spread faith, joy, happiness and a meaning of life.
All shall be done to make use of the available resources especially media for the faith formation activities.
The church is situated in the hear of M´lore and attracts even lots of foreigners.
Entering St Francis Xavier Church gives one joy, harmony and peace and the wish to pray and worship and one is able to feel the presence of God.
These are solemn and important moments in the life of every Christian to spend time at a church and to talk with God and to thank and to receive strength for everyday life.
Bejai Parish has been offering help and spiritual guidance for one hundred years.
It is a special place in the heart of M´lore.
I look forward to come again to Mangalore and to attend mass at Bejai Parish.
Wish you all joy and the best!

    Best regards
