New Delhi, Aug 9 (IANS) M. Jeychandran, former treasurer of CWG Organising Committee, would be interrogated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for one more month.
Allowing the ED's plea, Special CBI Judge Talwant Singh granted a month more to the ED to interrogate Jeychandran for alleged violation of foreign exchange laws in awarding contracts for timing, scoring and result (TSR) system in the 2010 Commonwealth Games to a Swiss firm.
"The time to interrogate accused M. Jeychandran is extended by one month from today," the court said.
The order came after public prosecutor for ED Naveen Kumar Matta sought more time.
He stated that the interrogation is necessary for further probe into the case.
