Mulky: Congress Holds Protest Rally Against State Apathy

Mangalore, Aug 10: “Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa was the most corrupt chief minister in the country.  The time for Yeddyurappa to go to prison is nearing as his associates are marching towards prison one after the other. The Congress-led state administration had worked for the welfare of common man, while the Kannadigas are cursing themselves for electing BJP,” said former MP Vinayakumar Sorake.
 
He was speaking at a protest meet held under the leadership of MLA Abayachandra Jain at Mulky here on Tuesday August 9.













 
Mulky town panchayat president Sasikant Shetty said that a BJP activist from the lower rung in ZP clicked a few pictures of potholes in a road under Mulky town panchayat and sought the help of the media in publishing it. “He was not concerned about the deplorable condition of the Government Hospital road.  If it’s the state of local BJP leaders, their state leaders will swindle the state exchequer,” added Shetty. 

Jain said that Congress will support the people affected by irregularities in issuing ration cards, title deeds, irregular supply of electricity, LPG connection, and eviction of poor families.
 
Congress activists led by Jain held a protest rally from Gandhi Maidan, Karnad, to Mulky town and presented the memorandum to deputy Tahsildar Bharati.
 
Shalet Pinto, B M Asif, Dhananjay Kotian, Gunapal Shetty, Yogish Kotian, Puttu Bava, Vasant Bernard, Kishore Shetty, Mohan Kotian, Roshan Kumar, Noor Mohammed, Somappa Suvarna, and Manorama Henry were present on the occasion.

    Nagesh, Thanks for telling me I am 100% right.
    Innocent farmers don’t come on the street and stone vehicles on expressways. I hope you are aware what an expressway is and what speed our vehicles travel. I drive at 160 on this expressway. This is not Karnataka.
    Kalmadi was appointed by BJP to the OC and his right place is TIHAR along with Yeddy, Reddy and Katta.
    Your Karnataka rogues were exposed with proof by CBI and Lokayukta. Do you have any similar evidence?
    If your BJP guys are clean do they have the guts to ask for a CBI inquiry?

    Dear Nagesh,Can U please give us a list of farmers,poor people who like our ex CM.Are U aware that our poor farmers were agitating recently near nice corridor.Can U explain to us who grabed their land.Can U explain to us why Khattas aqueired 100 acres of land in Devanahalli,& whose land it is,& why he & son are in jail today.

    From last 3 years the congress people doesnot have any other work in the state apart from doing such type of road shows. This has become the part time job of congress now. Dont worry congress people after next election it will be your full time job.

    These people are wasting their lot
    of valuable time & energy.Instead they can start filling the potholes
    of the roads around them.They can hire some contractors to maintain the road conditions,& show to the public the good work they can render intead of indulging in this type of protests,which will achieve
    nothing.What is the contribution of the Congress government towards the roads maitainance in Karnataka.They lost election to BJP,because,they failed miserably in their 50 years of rule in Karnataka,as they were equally corrupt,& did not bothered in the development work of the state.

    Its really nice to see there is atleast someone who is caring abt local people and cong is doing a right job here.

    my beloved friends...Mr.paddu, Mr.lukas, Mr.D.PRASAD...tel me u guys one thing, the party or the leader ur supporting has ever shown any concern of development in ur locality..instead they were been harsh on us for issues like issuing ration cards, title deeds, irregular supply of electricity, LPG connection etc etc...i do support BJP party, but i hav never felt tht some thing good has happended to us not to our people.

    In future dont try to take any party's lead, try to get the work done smartly...here we are not bothered which party is the best. but we should also try to play safe so tht we are been served and we get benefit of the leader whome we have voted....for sure today MLA'a or MP are standing for the election not in a intention of serving people, but truly 100% to raise they wealth and make their families rich...sriman yedurappa is an best example for this

    Those who ask what congress is done in last 60 years. please ask elders in home....you will come to know what was India after independence and what is it now...its just coz of good leaders we had in congress party.     This is waste of time & energy by Congress. Congress is party which has ruled the state and the nation more than 50 years. Now they are talking of poor and village. What a shame? Gujarath CM has made the state of Gujarat a No.1 state. Narendra modi has proved it in only 10 years!. Why this congress people could not do the same in Karnataka? Anyway BJP Govt. is doing better than the Government. The Law and order is good in Karnataka.

    Good move by Congress. Most of the poor villagers in Karnataka still feel that Yeddurappa is very clean, honest and holy because of his photographs with Swami’s giving large donations to temples. Congress should reach out to every village and enlighten these poor illiterate villagers and expose Yeddurappa and his fraudulent activities.
