Stay Away from Yeddyurappa - Top Leaders Advise DVS

Daijiworld Media Network – Bangalore (SP)

New Delhi, Aug 10: During the maiden visit of state Chief Minister (CM), D V Sadananda Gowda (DVS), to New Delhi on Tuesday August 9 after his swearing in, the top leaders of the BJP including L K Advani and others reportedly advised him in no uncertain terms, to keep former CM, B S Yeddyurappa, away from the corridors of power. Advani in particular, told DVS during his meeting with DVS, that during the last three years, the BJP in Karnataka had got relegated into an individual-centric party.

He insisted that this is a development that will hurt the party in the long run, and told Gowda to aim at bringing the party back on tracks by working to wriggle itself out of the individualistic approach.

Sources said that Advani expressed himself strongly against the way Yeddyurappa had ruled the state during the last three years. Advani said he was proud at the fact that the BJP could come to power in Karnataka for the first time in South India on its own. He however, disagreed with the strategies used to ensure this success. Advani is said to have disapproved the fact that hundreds of crores of rupees had been spent for ensuring the election of the candidates fielded by the BJP not only in the parliamentary election, but also assembly election and by polls in Karnataka.

Advani said that among these disheartening developments, a dangerous phenomenon started to gain shape in Karnataka, that of the party growing around a particular individual. He said that a political party should always have a number of eminent leaders, and that it should not rely on a single leader, in which case the leader will have power to dictate terms to the central leadership. He said that he could sense this danger taking shape in Karnataka.

He expressed displeasure at the fact that Yeddyurappa chose to stick to his post, in spite of various allegations levelled him. He said that even after the Lokayukta report indicted him of getting involved with illegal mining and receiving donation of Rs 20 crore to an educational trust run by his family, Yeddyurappa continued to say that he would resign only if the courts which are hearing these cases, found him guilty. “If we had allowed to have Yeddyurappa his say, the BJP would have become the property of an individual, not a democratic party,” the former deputy Prime Minister of the country told Gowda.

Advani also expressed apprehension that Yeddyurappa, in insisting that Sadananda Gowda alone should be chosen as his successor, had some plan in mind. “There is widespread notion that you are a puppet in the hand of Yeddyurappa, and that you will work as a proxy CM on his behalf. You should prove this notion wrong, and rule the state efficiently,” he is said to have advised DVS. He told the CM that the developments preceding the swearing –in ceremony of the first batch of ministers in the state too have worked to strengthen the suspicion that DVS was working as per the diktats of Yeddyurappa. He told Gowda that the foremost task before him is to ensure that the BJP does not grow into a party built around a particular individual.

“Come out of the clutches of Yeddyurappa. Work hard, and earn the confidence of all classes of the society in the state. Show your capacity through working hard for the all-round development of the state,” Advani told Gowda. Perhaps, time alone will be able to tell as to how far DVS will be able to follow Advani’s advice.

DVS has an innocent smile. I think he will do well if he continues to stay away from Reddy's chains. If BJP has to come to power in Karnataka again, they have to keep Reddy's Out, Yeddy out and keep hard working leaders in cabinet. Keep away also baseless politicians like Danajay Kumar, who says except Hinduism all other Religions are foreign. He likes all that is foreign except Religions. Doddanna Damaskatte Abudhabi

Mr G Bhandari,KAIKAMBA/MUSACAT,What you had exibited impression about Mr Dhanajay Kumar may be true for you!But in the same time can you give example of an clean MLA, MLC,MP, Minister,or front line politicians of all parties? What Dhanjaya Kumar and Dharnedra Kumar, cousin of him built BJP along with Ram Bhat of Puttur is the foundation for present BJP's govt in Karnataka.Dhanjaya Kumar belongs to jain community and has little vote bank that's why he remained where he was 20 years before. What you said may be correct or not but the contribution in building BJP in undivided DK is immense along with his cousin late Dharnendra Kumar KELADA PETE of SHIRTHADY.However I did find in Dhanjaya Kumar not divise politics instead value based and issue based.

Coming to the comments made by you against Janardhana Poojari might be correct for certain extent. but disunity among congressmen headed by Moily and Poojari are largely responsible for the defeat of Congress frequently.Even V.Moily was also defeated in Mangalore. Groupism in congress and Communalism in BJP are two main issue rather than Poojari himself.Even as of today Poojary can boast himself as Mr clean! What BJP MLAs using multi million rupees car for their transportation in the meetings of Yeddy and Shettar group are visible and writing on the wall to world in TV media is a small clue how these MLAs are running for money and power!!However, I did not support MR Janardhana Poojari in taking head @ H.E .DR Shri D.Veerendra Hegde

All the supporters of Cong, please don't try to throw Mr. Yeddy into the dust bin. His dignity already reached there and it has transformed into dust and searching for the bin now. DVS is very smart CM and will follow each and everyone and ulimately he will be the super power in Karnataka.
Advani, PM and SMK all have given the same advise to him and he is keeping quiet until the probe to take place against Yeddy. He knows it better what would be the outcome of that probe.

I really appreciate the advice given by our great leader Mr. L.K.Advani if DVS follow his guidance definetly DVS will sucseed as good chief Minister and the state will flurish. I will not agree with the statement made by Ismail.K.Perinje to Mr. Rakesh Shetty for the reasons that as explained by Ismail Danajaya Kumar is not worthy politician. His performance was far below than the expected levels perhaps he also corroupt like Yeddi. When he got elected in 1980 as first time MLA its not because of his capacity but the Mangalore required a change of MLA and also he won the MP seat its because of the wrong and negetive politics of Janardhana poojary who had no control over his toungue. He though occupied very responsible position as Minister his mouth was very bad and insulted the great personality like our Dr. Veerendra heggade who done the noble service to mankind in our state. This Danajaya Kumar spent his most of time in clubs during his MLA tenure. He sold his house near KPT Mangalore with his habbit. I was involved very closly with all these leaders during 1983 and 1984 when I was leading our student Union of KPT as President. He was looking after transport section ( Like RTO & other issues ) We could not meet him whenever required and he never bothered to resolve the problems faced by transport section effectively. Our Minister Dr. V.S.Acharya was the legislative party leader during Mr. Ramakrishna Hegde Government in 1982 with 19 MLA's Finally he dissolved the Government.

Mr Rakesh Shetty Mangalore,FYI, Mr Dhanajaya Kumar is the one of the senior most politician having a credit of South India's only second candidate to win first time in LS election for BJP along with LK Adwani. He has also credit of one of the first BJP MLA who won MLA seat from Mangalore..He suppose to be CM after Eddy's resignation! However, Sadananda Gowda, CM, of Karnataka kept "ADDA KAALU"aligning with Ananth Kumar snaching Managalore Loka Sabha seat ticket ten years back. After making as a Party chief of Karnataka, DVS penetrated to Eddy's circle and became one of the closest aide of Eddy gang which gave him fruits at this juncture.

Coming to the issue, DVS @ any cost can not move with out permission of Eddy for whatever reason.Even if Yeddy goes to jail, it does't matter.Did we not see Gang leaders even in the jail controlling operations of outer world? So in Karnataka Eddy is all in all and if any body dare to challenge including DVS, the next moment there would not any BJP govt in Karnataka. The cult culture already established in Karnataka and here after the situation going to worsen rather than normal.Time will onl tell what would be the political landscape during time next Assembly election.

If DVS Stays away from Yeddi, then Yeddi will arrange some other CM candidate.

We hope Yeddi should be kept away in parappana agrahara jail. This is the only solution for the current political crisis in Karnataka. Inclusion of tainted minister Somanna in the cabinet clearly shows Yeddi's super power in the Govt.

People in karnataka are looking for development of the state and let it be any party. DVS should immediately send Yeddi to jail if he interferes in his matters...
