Udupi: Those talking about eradication of Sanatana Dharma don't want peace in society - Pejawar seer

Udupi, Sep 4 (IANS): Udupi Pejawar Mutt seer Sri Vishwaprasanna Thirtha Swami on Monday slammed the statement of Tamil Nadu minister Udayanidhi Stalin on Sanatana Dharma.

“I am shocked to know about the call given by a minister for eradication of Sanatana Dharma. Being a responsible minister in the Tamil Nadu government, his call to eradicate Sanatana Dharma has shocked me,” the seer stated.

The word “Sanatana” means one which is eternal. Everyone strives and puts in hard work for their happiness. That happiness should not cause suffering to others. Religion is a way to ensure happiness of all people in society, the seer explained.

“We might get joy out of our hard work. This should not cause inconvenience for even neighbours. Our efforts should be put in such a manner that they should bring joy to neighbours as well.This is the essence of Sanatana Dharma. What should we call for the persons who oppose Sanatana Dharma? Those who are talking about eradication of Sanatana Dharma do not

    Sanatana Dharma based on caste system, Suppressing on others based on religion, gender, Inequality in places of worship, educational, Government & public institutions, Sanatana Dharma which tolerates and practices untouchable, Child marriage, Devadasi system and other social evils must be eradicated.

    True Sanatana Dharma, as explained by Swamiji, was being practiced until the 19th century. Level of tolerance was highest, resulting in other religions to grow and flourish. With the advent of 20th century there emerged a few fanatical organizations with socio-politico ideologies followed by divisions and segregations on basis of religion finally resulting in partition of the nation. All preaching of tolerance and coexistence by eminent philosophers and reformers like Swami Vivekananda, Raja Ram Mohan Roy and Ramakrishna Paramahamsa went in for a toss, the impact of which is being experienced by the present generation.

    No human can destroy one another's faith or religion from this world, except God alone. It is humans little knowledge of brain incite themselves trying to destroy or eradicate another's faith or religion, which is witnessed in the history again and again. However the humans can stir peace and hide crimes in the society.

    Why Santana Dharma failed miserably to bring peace and justice in Godhra, Manipur, Kashmir and Haryana????..Violence by BJP in all these 3 states were in 3 extreme opposite ends. The pattern of 4 extreme ends like + will complete when BJP foments violence in TN.

    (NO SANATA DHARMA IN MANIPUR -- DHARMA was DISROBED -- --many other atrocities -- BILKIS BANO RAPE CASE AND RELEASE OF CONVICTS ----)---- SANATA DHARMA --While the philosophy or thought process was good -- in reality it helped in continuing of the caste system ---- So if you were born into a lower caste -- one was condemned to live throughout their lives for past mistakes -- ETERNAL DAMNATION -- There is no question of Course correction -- up liftment -- education etc -- exploitation -- women exploited -- Deva dasi system etc etc -- This was the practice -- So Brahmanism and Sanata Dharma go hand in hand -- Brahmins who enjoyed because of birth the highest in the Human hierarchy in INDIA OR BHARAT-=- don't want to forego this privilege-

Where were you when your own people and your saffron party men were abusing and talking about the removal of Islam/Christianity/Judaism/Sikhism from India...you enjoyed such statements FYI,, sanatana dharma is not original to India. It came from Central Asia.     This was avoidable for the young minister... People around the globe have different beliefs and many do not believe the commonly believed... However as long as the ways do not disturb other way thinkers we must all coexist with each other... By speaking against any belief we are directly challenging the unknown... Instead of giving explanation he must just send a simple apology and there ends the matter...

    It is simple arithmetic. We are a democracy and Hindus are in a majority, if any party wants to win elections the majority has to be kept pleased, in Karnataka Congress won because of Graha Lakshmi and Graha Jyoti, free bus rides increased mainly temple visits and temple collections, or atleast be neutral, never be against the majority. Here Udhayanidhi Stalin has already scored a self goal, even before the match opened, now some others will follow him.
