If you go for short cut in life you will end up in jail. Live with hard work, you have respect and dignity.

Anton; though, there is heavy demand for labour work, unfortunately the generation of people who could do it has come to an end! The newer generation neither has the physical strength nor the mental strength to do physical work; this has partly been spoilt by the people returning from the Gulf, Israel etc with glitzy apparels and some building huge mansions, even by taking loans, to showoff; this has become a tremendous attraction for young healthy lads to go and struggle abroad even for very meagre amount of salaries, but just for showoff and to get brides! Another point, most youngsters from our community are minimum graduates, many are MBAs, many are engineers due to mushrooming of third-grade educational institutions run by TDH groups who just are churning machines of paper degrees and with no skill sets, in return for big money; this category of youngsters has a big ego and each one wants to directly land up with plush jobs in MNCs; how does one expect them to do coolie work? Remaining few uneducated who are there are addicted to alcohol, tobacco or drugs; what type of physical labour can one expect from them? This is the ground level situation! To add to that the real inflation and unemployment has gone up to unprecedented levels; in that even a upper middle class family having steady jobs find it difficult to make both ends meet! The influx of lots of NRI money is partly responsible for the high cost of living in a very small city like Mangluru!! Just think, this trend of robbing and daylight burglaries has just started and now spreading to interior rural areas, this is going to increase manifold in the coming time due to various reasons like drought, highest inflation etc! Senior citizens and those with lots of wealth need to be very careful of their belongings as times are very very bad! Rest you think!!!! Soon a big chunk of Agniveers will land up in the job market......where are the jobs????? .

real kujuma Kodial, yes in every community there is someone dancing out of the line.So this one too.Sometimes the chances also make one to steal .If any house owner is not locked or not there ,you tend to steal when your stomach is empty, you ahve no means to bring medicine.etc.But onething Anton should realise.Stealing doesnt brings you further ,but beg or ask someone when you have no money. Its bad habit and brings you only unluck.Work for your loan.Even a hour in agriculture brings you atleast good money. And God also will be pleased with you than this.

For daily wagers there is huge demand in our twin districts and the amount of wage they get is better if u compare what graduates earn today in Mangalore . So in this case the cause of the crime is definitely not unemployment rather easy money without doing hard work.

Anton, I am not supporting this thief, let me be clear for you. Daily wagers surely earn more than the graduates in our district and they work less hours compared to them as well. You have a point BUT daily wage work is not for everyone, either you have to have some sort of skill or at least very good heath if you don't have any skill. Is someone had a white collar job for couple of years and never worked any physical work, it is not easy to go and work as a daily wager. It's very easy for us to talk about it. Your statement reminds me someone else' statement " Make pakodas and sell them, it is also a business" Unfortunately not everyone can do that business either.

Agreed; hard manual labour is not today's generations cup of tea; that generation of coolie labour is almost over! But, if someone has got specific skills, be it anything, there's tremendous demand and economic fulfillment for the skilled person, believe me; no need of going to the Gulf etc! Our, local youngsters, hardly have any specific skills except mostly auto driving etc.! Even the children here are brought up, by the parents, with a strong mindset that work means: officer, engineer, banker, IT jobber, doctor, etc. etc; unlike the migrant workers who are ready to do any work as far as they are paid well!!

Very much Agree; hard manual labour is not today's generation's cup of tea; that dedicated generation of coolie labour is almost over! But, if someone has got specific skills, be it anything, there's tremendous demand and economic fulfillment for the skilled person, believe me; no need of going to the Gulf etc! Our, local youngsters, hardly have any specific skills, except mostly auto driving etc.! Even the children here are brought up, by the parents, with a strong mindset that work means either: supervisor, officer, engineer, banker, IT coder, doctor, etc. etc; unlike the migrant workers who are ready to do any work as far as they are paid well; many of them are highly skilled in jobs like masonry, construction activities etc.

Dear Avi, while condemning any sort of cheating; just scour through some very recent news regarding Varun Ind and Jet Air, available in public domain??? See the huge amount that they have swindled from PSU banks and how long back, which is getting detected now??? Is it not daylight burglary of the hardearning taxpayers MONEY, and what examples are these white collar thugs setting on impressionable and weak minds??
