Mangaluru, Sep 5: Faizal, a resident of Talapady village in Narlapadilu, took his own life by hanging at his home. The incident unfolded at a residence under the jurisdiction of the local police station.
The 24-year-old ended his life by hanging himself in a room on the first floor of his house. At the time of the incident, his mother, sister, and grandmother were present in the house. The distressing discovery was made by his mother when she went upstairs.
It is worth noting that Faizal had encountered legal issues in the past. In 2022, he was arrested in connection with a bike theft case near Pandit House. Additionally, a case related to the consumption of ganja had been registered against him four months ago.
After being released on bail in the bike theft case, he had been taken into custody by the Manjeshwar police for another case.
The motive behind this tragic incident remains unclear, and the police are considering the possibility that Faizal's actions may have been influenced by mental health issues.
