Bangalore: Enmity Between Ministers Turns Ugly in CM’s Presence

Daijiworld Media Network – Bangalore (SP)

Bangalore, Aug 13: In an incident that occurred on Thursday night at the residence of the Chief Minister, D V Sadananda Gowda here, minister for housing, Somanna, and excise minister, M P Renukacharya, exchanged abuses at each other in singular. They were about to come to blows, when a senior minister intervened and pacified the two, it is learnt. This happened some time after the expansion of the ministry. It may be recalled that both these ministers belong to Yeddy camp, and belong to the same community.

Those present at the spot analyzed that Somanna and Renukacharya had been nurturing a grouse against each other since long, as each one of them were trying to become closer to former CM, Yeddyurappa. The inner feelings of hatred came out in the open on Thursday. It is said that Somanna believes Renukacharya had encouraged MLA, B P Harish, to convene a press conference on Thursday, and spew venom against the former.

In the meanwhile, Chikmagalur MLA, C T Ravi, speaking to reporters here on Friday, said that he is indeed unhappy about not getting a ministerial berth, but hastened to clarify that he was not in despair. He said he believes that God will gift him what he deserves. It is said that Yeddyurappa, who  has been angry at the incessant pressures being brought by C T Ravi, Sogadu Shivanna, and S K Bellubbi, to become ministers, has firmly told the CM not to accommodate these three in the cabinet. Otherwise, one or two of them would have become ministers by now in the first expansion, sources added.

The CM has decided to expand his ministry by this month end. Before that, he and state BJP president, K S Eshwarppa, have decided to raise the issue of loyalists versus newcomers, at the meeting of party leaders being held around August 20.  Out of the remaining seven vacancies, five may be filled up in the coming second expansion, it is expected. The party leaders, in the said meeting, are likely to draw up a formula for accommodating people in the ministry as well as boards and corporations enjoying status equal to ministers, sources said.

JRAO, ENEMITY BETWEEN MINISTERS IS NOT GOOD IN PUBLIC. BJP MLA'S ARE FIGHTING IN FRONT OF CM FOR MINISTRIAL POSTS. WHAT A SHAME. EVEN FOOLS LIKE JRAO ARE SUPPORTING THIS WHICH IS VERY SAD. JRAO IS SAYING ITS AN INTERNAL MATTER OF BJP. WHEN BJP DOES ANYTHING IT IS RAGARDED AS INTERNAL MATTER. BUT WHEN UPA AND CONGRESS DID THEN BOMB IS BLASTED.

From CM to the misters, all are busy fighting each others, giving statements to media, visiting temples-mutts, offering pooja, touring the state and beyond. Rubbish. No time to think, no time to work for the develepment of the state and its people. Put all the ministes in a ship, take them somewhere in the middle of the sea and throw them in the deep sea. Let the President's rule prevail.

BJP'S PROBLEMS IN KARNATAKA IS NEVER ENDING. NOW FIGHTING IS GOING ON FOR MINSITRIAL BERTHS. SEE NOW CT RAVI UNHAPPY FOR NOT GETTING A MINISTRIAL BERTH. ALL ARE POWER HUNGRY. I AM SURE THESE BJP MLA'S WILL NOT ALLOW GOWDA TO WORK. THIS WILL BE A BIG HEADACHE FOR GOWDA. I AM SURE THESE ARE ALL YEDDY'S MAN AND YEDDY IS BEHIND THIS. NOW YEDDY HAS LOST HIS CHAIR SO HE IS PLAYING. GOWDA SHOULD NOT BOW TO ANYONE. BJP MINITERS FIGHTING BETWEEN THEMSELVES IN OPEN AND THAT ALSO IN FRONT OF THE CM SHOWS THEIR CULTURE. WHEN SUCH A THING CAN HAPPEN IN FRONT OF CM THEN IT CAN HAPPEN ANYWHERE. SHAME ON BJP MLA'S. BJP ITSELF WILL DEFINITELY BRING DOWN GODA'S GOVERNMENT AGAIN VERY SOON. NO NEED OF CONGRESS OR JDS TO DO IT. PRESIDENT RULE IS THE BEST SOLUTION IN KARNATAKA AND AFTER SIX MONTHS FRESH ELECTIONS SHOULD TAKE PLACE. THIS IS THE BEST REMEDY TO SOLVE THE KARNATAKA PROBLEM OR ONLY TAMASHAS WILL CONTNUE EVERYDAY.
