Congrats to Vijayanath Shetty & all the organisers.
Moodbidri is one town which has caught the eye due to various cultural activities initiated by socially responsible personalities in the region. Prominent among them is Dr. Mohan Alva with his various institutions and other activities. He has organised several top class cultural festivals bringing in so many artists from all over India. He has surely brought Moodbidri into the limelight.
Likewise, Vijayanath Shetty also deserves a big thank you for his efforts in organising the Marathon along with his committee of supporters. The aim of the run being 'unity' people like Vishwanath are a great asset for a peaceful society.
Bringing in world class hockey player Dhanraj Pillay was a clever idea and commendable too. Dhanraj has done a lot for Indian hockey.
Prominent personalities from other areas also should take the lead from Vijayanath Shetty and Dr. Mohan Alva and organise interesting cultural and sports events and show everyone in our district that there is plenty to show around.
Congrats again to all the organisers of the Moodbidri Marathon. Well done !
