Mumbai, Aug 16: Following a bomb alert on board a Jet flight 9W552 from Mumbai to Doha just before its departure, all passengers were evacuated from the aircraft, here, on Monday August 15.

A passenger on board the plane found an anonymous note with a warning of a bomb on the aircraft. Security officials at the airport were immediately notified.

However, the CISF found nothing significant in its search.

A Jet Airways spokesperson informed that the CISF, soon after being alerted about the bomb threat, instructed the aircraft to be brought back. The passengers were then safely evacuated.

The flight that was scheduled to depart at 8.25 pm was carrying 96 passengers and 6 crew members.

The flight was later recheduled for 10.30 pm.
