Udupi: Police conduct parade in city ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi

Udupi, Sep 18: In anticipation of the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, the Udupi police organized a parade across the city streets to ensure law and order is maintained during the festivities.

Over 100 police personnel, including officers from the Malpe and KSRTC stations, participated in the march, led by Udupi sub division Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Dinaker P K.

The parade commenced from Bannanje and proceeded through various locations, including the City Bus Stand, Service Bus Stand, K M Marg, before concluding at the Mother of Sorrows Church.

Inspector Manjappa from Udupi police station, Inspector Manjunath from Malpe Police Station, and other officials were also in attendance.
