Mangaluru: Notorious rowdy facing multiple cases arrested

Mangaluru, Sep 20: The CCB police arrested notorious rowdy Tallat, wanted for murder, attempted murder, threat, demand for ransom and several other criminal cases.

Tallat (30), a resident of Faisal Nagar, Padil used to monitor crime activities from Goa and Mumbai. It is said that he was the gang leader and indulged in crime in Mangaluru for the last twenty years.

The CCB police who received information that he has come to home town fro Mumbai, arrested him when he was at Kottara. He was handed over to the custody of the rural police station.

Tallat had indulged in an assault case for the first time in 2004. As many as 28 cases including murder, death threats, extortion, thefts, attempted murder and assault on police on duty are registered against him in Mangaluru rural police station, Kankanady town police station, Barke, Mumbai and other police station.
