Medical student of Udupi origin dies in tanker-bike collision in Madikeri

Madikeri, Sep 21: In an accident that occurred near Katakeri between a milk tanker and a bike on Wednesday September 20, a youth of Udupi origin, died.

The deceased is identified as Vijesh, a final year MBBS student of Madikeri medical college. He and his friend Shivanand were going to Madikeri on his bike. As they approached Katakeri, a multi-axle milk tanker collided with their bike. While Vijesh died on the spot, pillion Shivananda received grievous injuries to his head. He was admitted to Madikeri district hospital.

A case is registered in this connection against the truck driver.
