Ramdev to Meet President

New Delhi, Aug 17 (IANS): Yoga guru Baba Ramdev will meet President Pratibha Devisingh Patil Wednesday to submit a memorandum against the arrest of Gandhian activist Anna Hazare.

Ramdev will meet the president at 11.45 a.m., said a statement from the guru.

He will then go to Tihar Jail to meet Hazare, it added.

Hazare was jailed here Tuesday ahead of his fast for an effective anti-corruption law.

Ramdev supported the activist's previous protest here at Jantar Mantar.

Ramdev's fast against black money here at Ramlila Ground, which started June 4, was forcibly ended with a post-midnight crackdown by the police.

    It is beyond doubt that the So called Guru Ram deve is a trump card and secret agent of UPA to tranish the image of Anna Hazare. UPA field this fake guru in disguise as a well wisher to Hazare to meadiate. His entry to this episode will definitely tint the image of Anna in the view of general public as this fake Guru is already best known for his fraud yoga and duplicate health products. Beyond all these he is under the scanner of investigating authority for accumulation of crores of worth unaccounted properties. So Anna Hazare should keep a distance from this yoga Guru to safeguard his crusade against corruption. If he allowed him to share his stage, surely Hazare will lose the public support. This what the congress want and trying to achieve.Hope Anna is wise enough to realize the vested motive in the intervention of this fake guru..
