Mangaluru: Vehicle thieves arrested, Tempo Traveller worth Rs 15 lacs seized

Mangaluru, Sep 22: The theft of a tempo traveller with registration No. KA19, AC 8179, which was parked near Kuntikan Flyover at 8:30 pm on September 14, was reported at the Urva police station at 12:30 pm on September 15 under registration No. 99/2023 IPC section 379.

A police team, led by Police Station Inspector Bharati G and consisting of ASI Harish H V, ASI Vinay Kumar, ASI Ullas Mahale, and police staff Girish, Bhasker, Abhishek, and Prajwal, was formed to investigate the case.

The team successfully apprehended Arif Ulla Khan, also known as Arif, Amith Bahubali Panchodi, also known as Baby, and Surendra Kumar in Belagavi.
They also recovered the stolen vehicle, valued at approximately Rs 15 lacs, from them.

    They are not only stealing some vehicles they are stealing Livelihoods of some families. They should be ashamed. Surely some mafia is involved in all this.

    Our law is not strong enough to punish this culprits.Once they give harsh punishment then people think twice to do this crimes.
