Mangaluru: Pickup truck overturns on Netravati Bridge, fish spills on road

Mangaluru, Sep 24: A fish transport pickup truck overturned on Netravati bridge after one of its tyres burst while carrying a load of fish from Malpe Port to Ullal Oil Mill on Sunday, September 24 evening.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident, but it did disrupt road traffic for a brief period.

As the pickup truck approached the Netravati bridge, its front tire burst, causing the vehicle to swerve off the road, collide with the bridge's barrier, and ultimately overturn.

The Mangaluru South Traffic Police Station promptly arrived at the scene, ensuring the smooth flow of traffic. The pickup truck's driver sustained only minor injuries during the mishap.

The accident resulted in fish spilling onto the road, creating a messy scene.
