Mangaluru: Cannonball saplings transported to Ayodhya, to be planted beside Ram Mandir

Mangaluru, Sep 25: Cannonball (Nagalinga) plants, developed by Vinesh Poojary, a resident of Niddodi have been transported through courier to Ayodhya to beautify Ram Mandir.

Vinesh is a tree lover. He procures various types of seeds and plants and distributes to needy people. He is also planting trees in campus of various temple of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts.

Vinesh has various kinds of plants with him. He developed cannonball tree seeds that are mostly seen in South America. This tree gives flowers in the shape of ‘Nagalinga’. He contacted administrative committee of Ayodhya through internet and they asked for some saplings.

On September 5, Vinesh sent five saplings through courier. He received telephone call from officials of Ram Mandir and they promised to plant the saplings beside the grand Ram Mandir. Vinesh has so far distributed more than 3000 cannonball saplings free of cost.

Vinesh said, “I have developed cannonball saplings since some time and have given freely to many districts of Karnataka. I have the intention of getting the same planted at Ayodhya. When I contacted the concerned officials, I got good response and they asked me to send five. Accordingly, I have sent five saplings through courier.”

    i think the big wigs of vhp in ayodhya does not know that this flower is originated from south america and not India...otherwise they will make issue of desi and videshi...

    But Kuju remember one thing that we like to plant trees and see the greenery and its beauty unlike someone who paint their places and building with ugly green. Whatever is the origin, a plant is a plant.
