Kasargod, Sep 25: A devastating collision between an auto rickshaw and a school bus tragically resulted in the loss of five lives at Pallathadka, near Badiadka, at 5 pm on Monday, September 25.
The school bus, belonging to an English medium school Manya, was en route from Perla when it collided with the auto rickshaw based in Mogral Puttur.
Among the victims was the auto rickshaw's driver, A H Abdul Rauf, and three women who were passengers.
The bus, which had already dropped off the children in Perla and was empty, collided with the auto rickshaw at a curve known as Guliga Bana, Pallathdka.
The identities of the deceased have not yet been released. Their bodies have been transported to the morgue at Kasargod General Hospital.
