Moodbidri: Three youths arrested for drug peddling; ganja, scooter seized

Moodbidri, Sep 28: Police inspector of Moodbidri police station Sandesh P G and team arrested three youths who were trying to sell prohibited ganja near Belvai Kantavara Dwara on Wednesday September 27.

The arrested are identified as Mohammed Ayan (22), Farhan Khan (18) and Sheikh Mohammed Zubair (19), all residents of Belvai.

Acting on definite tip-off, the police team raided the spot and confiscated 800 grams of ganja and a scooter, the total value of which is estimated to be Rs 62000.

Police sub inspector Divakara Rai, Siddappa Naranoora, Prashant, Mohammed Iqbal, Mohammed Hussain, Akil Ahmed, Venkatesh and other personnel were involved in the operation.

    Why they are targeting only one community. Siddu should creat job for them instead of giving freebies. With freebies You will make them drug peddlers. They are also human beings like rest of us. Teach them skills so that they follow some decent trade.
