Bantwal: Fake note case accused absconding since 20 years arrested

Bantwal, Sep 28: City police arrested a man, accused in counterfeit currency note case, absconding since 20 years.

Ibrahim, resident of Mannagundi in Kaukradi village of Nelyadi is the accused who is under police custody. He was produced in the court and is sent to judicial custody. A case was filed against two people in 2004 in connection with counterfeit currency note case. One accused had surrendered immediately, while Ibrahim went underground.

Police inspector of city police station Ananta Padmanabha, PSI Ramakrishna, personnel Ganesh and Gopalkrishna were involved in the operation.
