New administrative committee of Bahrain Kannada Sangha to take charge on Oct 6

Bahrain, Sep 28: The official swearing in ceremony of Rajya award winner Kannada Sangha of the Island nation and inauguration of the newly-built Ronald Colaco Lounge will be held on October 6.

Ronald Colaco lounge will be inaugurated at 10 am on October 6 by home minister of Karnataka Dr G Parameshwar. On the same day at 5 pm, the official swearing in ceremony of the new office bearers of the association will be held at Movenpick Hotel with various cultural programmes.

Vinod K Jacob, Indian ambassador to Bahrain, will be the chief guest. Dr G Parameshwar will be the guest of honour.

Ravi Kumar Gowda, MLA, Dr Arathi Krishna, AICC secretary, renowned entrepreneur Dr Ronald Colaco, KPCC chief secretary and former youth Congress president of Dakshina Kannada Mithun Rai and many others will take part in the programme.

As part of cultural programmes, various dance presentations will be given by renowned dancer of Karnataka Sujay Shanubhogue and troupe. In addition, talented artistes of the Sangha will unveil their talent on the dais.

All members, along with their family are requested to participate in the programme as per the invitation given by president of the association Amarnath Rai.
