Puttur: Kudkadi home robbery case – Six taken into custody

Puttur, Sep 29: Police arrested six people in connection with robbery of a house at Kudkadi Thotadamoole of Paduvannur village in the night on September 7 in which the house members were tied, cash and golden ornaments were looted.

The arrested accused are identified as Sudhir Peruvayi, and residents of Kasargod district in Kerala Pacchambala Ravi, Kiran, Vasanta, Fasal and Nisar. All the six have criminal background.

Pacchambala Ravi is an accused in the murder case of Jabbar, president of Mangaluru taluk panchayat. He is serving life sentence. He was released on parole.

The police have confiscated the car and gold from the accused. A case is registered in Puttur rural police station. The robbery occurred in the house of Guruprasad Rai, former member of Badagannur gram panchayat.
