Kundapur, Oct 1: In a shocking incident, a group of strangers attacked and stabbed Buns Raaghu alias Raghavendra Sherigar, a resident of Kharvikeri, on Sunday, October 1, at 7:30 pm. Raghavendra sustained severe injuries and was immediately rushed to Manipal Hospital.
The incident unfolded around 7 pm when Raghavendra arrived at New Delhi Bazar shop, located near the post office on Chicken Sal Road, in his Honda City car with the registration number KA 04, MB 1131. During the same time, an individual arrived in a Wagon R with the registration number KA 51, MG 9665, accompanied by a few others. They instigated a confrontation with Raghavendra, ultimately stabbing him in the thigh with a knife before fleeing the scene in their car. The motive behind the attack is believed to be an old rivalry.
