About the Speaker

Tipusultan Guntagali has been at the forefront of cutting-edge innovations throughout his career, notably in digital and mobility solutions, with some projects nominated for awards at various international forums. Since joining Emirates Airlines in 2013, he currently heads the robotics and future technologies division in the innovation space at Emirates Airlines.

From 2018 to 2022, he was specially seconded to Expo 2020 as the director of digital activation, overseeing innovation and digital activation projects across the site. Notable projects include leading the largest robotics project in the Middle East, deploying 152 robots at Expo 2020, alongside AI systems and Visitor Experience (VR) solutions. His involvement in creating the iconic yellow mascot robot, Opti, earned him the award for the best use of robots and AI in the social space at the ‘World AI Summit 2023’.

As a pro bono consultant, he mentors various startups on technology, product, and go-to-market strategies. Recently, he was honoured with the coveted UAE golden visa in recognition of his services to the UAE and Expo 2020 Dubai.
