Mangaluru: Bike collision with tipper on NH 169 claims life of rider

Mangaluru, Oct 8: In a tragic accident near Mucchur Cross, Ganjimutt, on NH 169, a bike rider lost his life when his motorcycle was struck by a tipper on Friday evening.

The victim, Sachin Kumar Acharya (33), a resident of Gurupura Hosamane, was killed on the spot. Sachin had just completed his duty at HDFC bank and was on his way home when the tipper, attempting to overtake his bike, collided with it.

Sachin is survived by his parents, one brother, and two sisters. He was unmarried.

The Bajpe police station has registered a case related to the incident.
