Bantwal, Oct 14: The rural police in Bantwal have successfully apprehended six individuals who had been evading the law for the past five years and had not appeared in court in connection with an illegal sand mining case.
The arrested individuals are originally from Uttar Pradesh and have been identified as Bablu Sahani, Ram Govind Sahani, Amit Kumar, Satyendra Sahani, Saidan Sahani, and Abhay Narayan. They are accused in a case related to an incident that took place in Farangipete in 2017.
The accused individuals had returned to their hometown and had been residing there.
The accused have been presented in court.
