Kundapur: Youth killed in serial accident involving three bikes

Kundapur, Oct 16: In a tragic accident, a young man lost his life in a head-on collision involving three bikes near Kanyana Anganwadi, Kodi on Sunday evening.

The victim is identified as 30-year-old Ravindra Poojary, also known as Ravi, a resident of Parampalli.

The accident unfolded when two bikes, traveling from Kodi Kanyana towards Parampalli, collided with a bike approaching from Parampalli. Adding to the chaos, a car was improperly parked without warning signals alongside the road, obstructing the visibility of the bikers. The collision resulted in severe injuries to the motorbike riders and caused damage to the parked car.

The deceased was the owner of a two-wheeler garage near Kota Moorukai. Local residents Charan and Prashanth, who sustained injuries, are currently receiving treatment at the hospital.

The incident has been reported to the Kota Police station and is under investigation.
