Kadaba: Woman gives birth in ambulance en route to hospital

Kadaba, Oct 18: A woman gave birth to a baby boy inside an ambulance on her way to the hospital in Periyadka on Wednesday October 18.

The woman, Shalini, was suffering from severe labour pain.

The 108 Arogya Kavacha ambulance service rushed Shalini to the hospital. She gave birth to a baby boy inside the ambulance on her way to the hospital.

Both the mother and the child are healthy and receiving medical care at the government hospital in Uppinangady. Staff nurse Chandrashekhar facilitated the easy delivery. Ambulance driver Purushottam also assisted in the process.
