Puttur: Driver injured after tanker overturns, oil spills on road

Puttur, Oct 19: A tanker overturned at around 10.30 pm on Wednesday October 18 near Urlandi on Bypass Road of the town on Mani-Mysuru highway.

The driver of the tanker was injured in the mishap.

Oil spilt all over the road and traffic was affected for more than one hour. Hindu organization leader Arun Kumar Puthila and others visited the spot.

Police and fire service personnel arrived and removed the oil from the road and allowed smooth flow of traffic.
