Bantwal, Oct 19: A woman of Uttara Kannada origin, who was working as labourer for the past six months, in the estate belonging to Sandalwood actress Radhika, has gone missing from October 13.

Nagaratna (33), wife of Mahadeva, a resident of Madanagiri of Kumta taluk, is the missing woman. She was working alongside her husband in the estate.

On October 13, both Mahadeva and Nagaratna went to work in the estate. Nagaratna said that she will come to have tea at 10.30 am to their house inside the estate but did not turn up.

It is said that Nagaratna has taken her clothes, Aadhar card, gold and cash from house. She was not in good terms with husband Mahadeva since some months and used to roam in Dharmasthala and Mangaluru. Hence, Mahadeva thought that she has gone for sight-seeing.

On October 14, Nagaratna called Mahadeva and said that she is going far away and there is no need to search for her. After that her mobile phone went off in switched off mode.

A case is filed in Bantwal city police station.
