Tiger nails on pendent - Kannada TV reality show Bigg Boss contestant arrested

Bengaluru, Oct 23: Varthoor Santhosh, one of the contestants of popular Kannada TV reality show Bigg Boss season 10, is arrested by forest officials.

Varthoor was arrested for wearing a pendent that had nails of tiger. He was brought out of the Bigg Boss house and taken into custody. He was arrested by Ramohalli forest officials.

An FIR was registered against Santhosh for wearing locket in his neck having the nails of tiger. He is arrested under Wildlife Protection Act. He is being interrogated by forest officials.

Varthoor Santhosh has several pets. He has created awareness among the public with regards to Hallikar Cattle breed. In addition, he is the president of all India Hallikar Breed Conservation Committee.

The action was taken based on the TV footage in which the nail of tiger can be seen clearly. Santhosh is subjected to inquiry at Kaggalipura forest department office. Bengaluru conservator of forests Ravindra said that Santhosh will be produced before magistrate after interrogation by forest officials.
