Just remove HORN facility for City & Mofussel buses. Don't even allow soft horns. Once horn is removed these buses can't move with thretening speed. TRY.... This is only & simple solution.

The road accident rates are going up at a very dangerous place in Mangalore and surrounding areas rivalling/surpassing the worst places in the country, which depicts the pathetic state of road planning and the rash driving mostly by the killer private busses; killing innocent pedestrians and other motor vehicle passengers should be made an offence equivalent to "manslaughter"; enough water has flown over the head!!

most of driving profession and conductors, ticket agents look and behave like goons ... shouting, yelling, rude behaviour with people in the bus or the people who are in the bus stand looking for buses to their destination ... whole private city bus stand n service bus stand look like some kind of junglee without any order or organisation ... some time back one passenger who got out of the bus and walking away from the bus got hit by the same bus ...

These goons treat the public like a herd of cattle; disgusting to see this in a so called literate Budhivanta Jivas place; their cartel reach and power appears to be too strong for the administration to crack!!

Sir/madam What will happen if you mow down a pedestrian under your vehicle. You will be booked under rash and negligent driving and not under IPC section 302( attempt to murder ). Advocates should educate public as authorities always will always circumvent the law. Everybody will forget these incidents after 2-3days , does anybody remember the loss of life accidents and what happened to the reckless driver. If this statement is to be verified check the accident in front of Muncipality swimming pool two days back. The city bus driver in this case will be driving the same bus on the same route and on the same day with the same speed .

Arrest the driver, cancel the bus license. Keep seal for all private buses and allow the government buses in city. Why are authorities shielding this transport mafia. The city DC, entire administration department, the ruling MLA MP all are responsible for running this mafia. Whole city is aware of how the bus drivers and conductors conduct and behavior is. Rowdies are appointed as bus drivers. Their behavior is reckless and pathetic.they scare the public and try to push them down they horn the bus where it is prohibited to do so above normal limits. What are the Authorities doing are they closing their eyes. And shutting their ears. Everyday 1 accident. For whom to earn money sacrifice of a life a day is going on.

Most of the private bus drivers were behaves as a rowdies and/or rowdy background; so better concerned department revoke DL, capital punishment and cancel the bus permit too, then only these drivers/owners of bus would learn a lesson otherwise we cannot curb these rowdy behavior.

Very simple question. Why no speed locks for the buses? Per day atleast one accident/one injury/one family collapse??? How many people want to see this go on forever ? Why the people are not acting and supporting the buses this way? Y the local administration is not acting ? Y no strict rules ? No answers for any of these questions..its the mistake of the people boarding n supporting them !! What if people say we wont board until speed locks are installed? One accident = one family on road, their childs education...what not everything gets damaged ! Sole bread winners may die !! Not fair practice !! Somehow do something to curb this menace.! People are dying every single day. Some one has to oppose this seriously.make some noise to save urself

Vasishta, Udupi Right ..... its the mistake of the people boarding and supporting them. Am shocked that a small coastal Karnataka has so many fatalities...everyday. What's happening to the killer coastal? Even in our over saturated Bombay metropolis ... with dense crush load, people have the civic sense to a certain extent (if not major) and are considerate. Myself seen lousy Mangalorean public a couple of months back gathering at a Nanthoor accident place, craning their necks, roughing thru just to get a view of the on-going tamasha and dispersing as if they're not at all involved. Worst coastal behaviour.

As is the case in the Middle East countries, here too blood money (amount demanded by the kith and kin of the deceased) should be realized both from the driver and the owner too. If they are unable to pay, throw them in the jail for a minimum 50 years. Until such a draconian law is not implemented such practices will keep continuing and there will be no deterrent measures to curb this menace.
