New Delhi, Aug 27 (IANS) Rajya Sabha Chairman Hamid Ansari Saturday allocated six hours for the Lokpal debate and said this could be extended if the members so wanted.
The upper house will also skip its lunch break for the debate as members expressed a wish to have maximum time to air their views.
Leader of Opposition Arun Jaitley spoke on the issue after Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee made a statement expressing the government's commitment to come up with a strong anti-graft Lokpal bill.
