Bengaluru, Nov 10: Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao said that establishing Mangaluru-Bengaluru Integrated Greenfield High-Speed Corridor will be complimentary for the development of all cities that fall in the route in addition to Mangaluru.
Dinesh spoke after holding meeting with high level officials of EBTC. Udupi district in-charge minister Laxmi Hebbalkar was also in the meeting.
A 6-8 lane high speed corridor proposal between Mangaluru and Bengaluru is proposed in the plan. Dinesh said that more discussion with the route and map of the plan will be held with chief minister Siddaramaiah and PWD minister Satish Jarkiholi.
Gundu Rao also said that state government will encourage projects like this which will help steady development of Mangaluru. Private participation is also necessary for the implementation of these kind of industries, he said.
