Udupi, Nov 16: Udupi lawyer’s association president Reynold Praveen Kumar has congratulated the police department under the leadership of district SP Dr Arun for having cracked the case concerning the brutal murder of four members of a family at Nejar that had stunned the people of the district. He has urged the government for a special court for the trial of the case.

"The work of the police so far in the case has been worth commending. It has increased peoples' faith in the police. The government should consider the seriousness of the case. As the special court does not have any case for the time being with regard to Bengaluru church blast, the government should entrust it with the Nejar murder case, he suggested adding that all the staff, judge and furniture should be shifted to Udupi till the case is decided. The government should also assign a special public prosecutor and provide justice to the victim’s family quickly,” he urged.
