Mangaluru, Nov 17: Two more flights began operating between city and Bengaluru by Air India Express. With this the number of daily flights to Bengaluru has gone up to seven from the city.

First flight IX 782 began operating from Monday. The second flight is operating on Kannur-Bengaluru-Mangaluru route. As the new flight was landing on the apron, the airport offered customary water canon salute. The first batch of passengers in the flight were given a warm welcome.
