Daijiworld’s 'Chaink Paink' fame Likitha Shetty Budadi selected for 'Kanasu Karthik rang Puraskar'

Udupi, Nov 17: Daijiworld’s ‘Chaink paink’ fame Likitha Shetty Budadi has been selected for ‘Kanasu Karthik rang Puraskar’ conferred by Areholi Prathisthana. 

The award is dedicated to the name of ‘Kanasu Karthik’, another talented artist of ‘Chaink Pank’ series of Daijiworld television. He passed away in January. Karthik was a talented artist and had worked as manager of Arehole Prathisthana, Mandara troupe of Brahmavar and Rangapayana of Bengaluru. 

Likitha Shetty has been an active artist and has also played roles in the Chaink Paink programme series of Daijiworld television. She also acted as a co artist of Karthik in the series. Likitha is a writer as well. 

The award will be conferred on December 3 during the three days theatre festival. The award includes certificate, cash award and memento.
