Daijiworld Media Network – Gujarat (MS)

Gujarat, Nov 18: Nirbhay Thacker, hailing from Jamnagar of Gujarat was termed as a weak student by his teachers. However, he stunned everyone by completing graduation during his teens itself. He took just one year to complete BE.

Born in 2002, Nirbhay completed his eighth to 10th grade studies in just six months. It took him just three months to clear both 11 and 12 grades. At the age of 13, he had done with his HSC. Nirbhay was the youngest engineer of Gujarat at the young age of 15. It took just one year for Nirbhay to pass the four year BE degree course. He got the degree in 2018, at the age of 15 from Gujarat Technological University (GTU).

Nirbhay’s aim is to complete many degrees. He is planning to complete mechanical, computer, instrumentation, automation and electrical engineering degrees within four years.

Dhaval Thacker, father of Nirbhay is the one who encouraged him. He is an engineer by profession and his mother is a doctor. Nirbhay completed his schooling at IGCSE which allows students to take fast track and complete the schooling in short span of time if they are capable of doing so.

World Education Congress has conferred young achiever award on Nirbhay. He has joined IIT Gandhinagar and will be doing research on next generation technology. He also wants to do PhD in addition to the 10 degrees in engineering.

Upon receiving the young achiever award Nirbhay said, “Till sixth grade, I was in a CBSE school which did not allow any competition. After changing schools and joining IGCSE as a private candidate, I took fast track and completed my schooling. Because of this decision, I could write and pass five grades in just one year. If one understand what he or she is reading, then it is very easy to clear the examination.”

Practical knowledge is very important while studying than paper certification of degrees have no value. Yes in india everything is theoretical to pass many degrees but in western countries theory and practice both combined qualify the degree. In personal life I don’t like people come for Job only with theorical knowledge and have no idea what is happening in business world

The point to be noted here is - the committment & support of the well educated parents & their vision., I am pretty sure.... there are many such high IQ talents in "Namma Kudla & Udupi" specially among "GSB, Brahmin & Christian" Community...,(with my due apologies, without any prejudice to other Community")' Regretfully - the Modern day parents (i mean highly educated) are obsessed with their own pursuit to pecuniary privileges, name & fame...,

The education system is our state and city is the best . If teachers stop judging students because of their looks , behaviour , family background , the disability , and judge them by the students first impression then I'm very sure that even a student scoring zero will take good places in any exam in our state and city . I am expressing this because I had faced the same issue when I studied . All this stops or if we see the change of mindset in the teachers . All will go well

I read this news on other news portals as well but something is not right here. BE course has at least 70 to 75 subjects including labs and theory. In a year you cannot clear more than 15 to 16 subjects considering that semester exams are held once in a year for each semester. How can someone clear all 75 subjects in one year when there are concurrent subjects for multiple years held in parallel just think about it.......something to do with GTUs curriculum.

Congratulations🥳! Taking so many degrees in a human life span will amount to Jack of all trades and Master of none! BTW, anything and everything is possible in this place! Am reminded of a similar type of story which occurred decades ago with a student from Bihar named Tathagat Avatar Tulsi! The above is a very personal opinion and does not in any way undermine his extraordinary capabilities!
