Udupi, Nov 20: On the occasion of the ruby jubilee year celebrations of St Mary's English Medium School, Kannarpady, with an aim to promote physical fitness with healthy body, ‘Ruby Run 2023’ will be held on Sunday, December 3.
The event will be exclusive for the participants of Udupi district.
The event will feature three categories namely Men & Women (Above 17 years) – 13 km, Boys & Girls (Below 17 years) – 5 km, and Boys & Girls (Below 14 years) – 3 km.
The participants should provide age verification documents such as photo-identity proof (Aadhar card, Voter ID, or Passport) which is mandatory. Cut-off dates for age categories are 17 years born after 01/01/2007 and below 14 years born after 01/01/2010.
Top five participants in each category will receive cash prizes and trophies. Prize winners may be required to provide additional proof of identity/age.
The participants can avail registration through a Google form with no registration fee. Confirmation is mandatory by contacting +91 94815 09322 before December 1. Chest numbers can be collected from the school office on December 2.
No spot or late entries will be accepted. Participants are responsible for their own accommodation. Aid stations for water and medical supplies will be available. Participants must assemble at St Mary’s English Medium School campus on the event date Sunday December 3, before 6:30 a.m.
Wearing the provided chest number is mandatory. The race must start at the designated start line and time. Assistance from others is prohibited until after crossing the finish line.
Results will be declared after approval from checkpoint judges. Breakfast will be provided after the event. Participants are urged to cooperate with police and security personnel.
Emergency procedures must be followed; Organizers reserve the right to stop medically unfit participants.
Organizers are not responsible for loss of baggage. Photographs from the event may be used for promotion. The organizers have the final say in all matters.
The run will start from St Mary’s Campus, Kannarpady, the route covers key locations such as Kinnimulky, Ambalpady, Kediyoor Junction, and concludes back at St Mary’s Campus.
