Qatar, Nov 23: Bunts Qatar, one of the vibrant associate associations of ICC under the aegis of Embassy of India has been organizing various socio cultural & sports events with the main objective of providing platform for its members and also to promote and pass on native culture to the younger generation since its establishment in the year 2011.
Bunts Qatar elected new management committee for the year 2023-25 during the annual general meeting on October 13 and unanimously elected Naveen Shetty Iruvail as its new president.
Naveen Shetty hails from Iruvail near Moodabidri of Dakshina Kannada district. He was actively involved in various organizations in Qatar & Bahrain. Naveen is a prolific speaker and an efficient host, also performed in drama & yakshagaana on various association platforms in Qatar & Bahrain. Talented Naveen has also demonstrated his leadership abilities & social contributions in different native associations too.
Outgoing general secretary Manas Shetty presented the activities conducted during the previous term.
Dr Padmashree Shetty, the outgoing president of Bunts Qatar, she outlined the association's objectives and expressed her satisfaction with the collective efforts of various former presidents, advisory committees & managing committee members over different terms. She expressed her gratitude to the executive body and association members for their cooperation during her tenure. She presented a token of appreciation to all the outgoing MC and advisory panel members.
Ravi Shetty – founder president, Navaneeth Shetty past president, senior members Rammohan Rai & Ramachandra Shetty congratulated and conveyed their best wishes to new committee for taking Bunts Qatar to greater heights. Deepak Shetty past president & advisory chairman for outgoing committee, past committee members and Bunts Qatar members in good numbers attended the meeting.
