Beltangady, Nov 27: A wild elephant reportedly attacked a car near the Neriya post office on Monday night, November 27.

The incident occurred when an Alto car, carrying six passengers, came under the assault, resulting in injuries to four occupants. The car sustained significant damage, causing panic among the local residents.

Promptly, the injured individuals were rushed to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention.

    Create buffer zones with plants, banana, jackfruit etc that elephants like and do not encroach on their areas and elephant corridors, in return they will not harm humans.

    Banana plants grow fast , if many are planted in between jackfruit tress which take years to grow it will take care of near term and long-term problems.

    Till the trees grow and yield fruit, everyday artificial buffers can plant and hang on them jackfruit/banana gone/mangoes/ varieties of beejas starting with kothambari, kadle hmm so on etc. On the way, passers by also can benefit and fulfil their hunger. Hotel me dena padtha he money....
