    Hi Denzil,

Your comments are valid!!! But this comment is wrong "almost all the runners seemed coming from Alva's." Only 9 in men and 6 in women can participate from one affiliated college.

From the Varsity Cross country championship I could notice some glaring aspects which I am mentioning for the benefit of future events.
Thanks to Daijiworld for the beautiful photos from where I am able to comment.
Firstly, there was no discipline as far as the uniforms were concerned. I could see runners from the same college in various coloured vests taking part. This is not on. Each team or college should have their own colors registered before the run.
Also, almost all the runners seemed coming from Alva's. Where were the other runners from other colleges may I ask ?? This is a bad sign as far as sports development in Mangalore University is concerned. We need participation from all colleges.
I also saw some bare footed runners which is bad. The college should ensure that the runners are well equipped with proper clothing and footing so that they perform with better results.
Hope the colleges and organisers take these comments in good spirit.
