Kundapur, Dec 5: Deepotsava and Pallaki Utsava of Sri Channabasaveshwara temple and Sri Shaneshwara temple situated at Margoli near Basrur in the taluk concluded on the night of Monday.
Bhajans were sung on the occasion. At the same time, Pallakki Utsava of Shaneshwara was held from the temple to Basrur. Scores of devotees joined in the procession. After offering pooja at Basrur Sri Mahalingeshwara temple the deity was brought back to the temple.
The worship of Shanishwara God is held for the past 10 years. All pooja rituals were held. Local and devotees from other parts of the state took pat.
Elderly person of Margoli Abbakka lighted the lamp. Trustee of Margoli temple Mahalinga, Venkateshwara Kalanji, Srinivas Acharya, Ananda Poojary, Govinda Margoli, Gopala Kalanje and other eminent personalities were present.
