Hanumantha Madara
The motive behind the gruesome murder appears to be Hanumantha Madara's alleged involvement in an illicit relationship with the wife of Shivappa Hanumantha Madara, another accused in the case. The sequence of events unfolded as Hanumantha was lured from his workplace at Kumbra in Puttur, taken in a vehicle by the three accused, and subsequently killed. His lifeless body was later discarded at Agumbe Ghat.
