Bantwal: Tragic accident between two-wheeler-bus claims life of 18-year-old

Bantwal, Dec 16: In a devastating incident on Saturday December 16, 18-year-old Ahamed Ashik Akmal lost his life when his two-wheeler collided with a KSRTC bus near Kabaka Kovethilla. The resident of Bantwala was riding his two-wheeler, and the collision occurred with a KSRTC bus traveling from Mangaluru to Puttur.

The impact of the collision resulted in the two-wheeler being trapped under the wheels of the bus. Despite immediate efforts to rescue the victim, the reckless and negligent driving of the two-wheeler is believed to have caused the accident.

The accident led to a temporary disruption of traffic in the area. Ahamed Ashik Akmal was quickly transported to a private hospital, but unfortunately, he was declared dead upon arrival.
