Udupi: Bishop Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo hands over donation to Journalists Welfare fund

Udupi, Dec 20: Udupi District Working Journalists' Union has started a welfare fund for them in view of their silver jubilee. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, bishop of Udupi diocese handed over donation to the fund on Tuesday.

The amount was handed over during the programme held at the care center at Kakkunje.

Udupi diocese vicar general Monsignor Ferdinand Gonsalves was present.

Udupi District Working Journalists' Union president Rajesh Shetty Alevoor, chief secretary Nazir Polya and silver jubilee committee convener Mohammed Sharif were present.
