UP Shares Information on Delhi Bomb Blast Case

Lucknow, Sep 8: Uttar Pradesh (UP) officials have dispatched a dossier of militants arrested in the state in recent past to their Delhi counterpart for assisting in the interrogation of Delhi High Court bomb blast case.

Officials stated that  91 militants have been arrested in UP which includes 37 arrested by Anti Terrorist Squad. Seven militants were nabbed by police of different states.

In another development, the local police on the information of residents detained a person in Balrampur district around 200 kms from Lucknow. The person was reported to be resembling the sketch of the accused released by Delhi Police.

However, during investigation he was found innocent. The person was identified as Shahzad aka Imran, a resident of Bela village in Kotwali area of Balrampur. He produced two railway tickets from Pune to Jhansi and then Jhansi to Gonda. He is stated to be engaged in plaster of paris jobwork in Pune.

A similar call was received in Noida where the caller claimed that a car having two persons with similar appearance to suspects were spotted. However, no one was detained.
