Kundapur: MP Raghavendra meets union tourism minister, seeks funds for Byndoor railway development

Kundapur, Dec 21: MP of Shivamogga B Y Raghavendra met union tourism minister Kishen Reddy and discussed about the development of Byndoor that needs to be done from the union tourism ministry.

During the discussion, Raghavendra made the minister realize that Byndoor legislative constituency that falls under Shivamogga Lok Sabha constituency consists of exquisite tourist attractions like Sri Kollur Mookambika temple, Mookambika reserve forest, Kodachadri hills, Someshwara, Trasi and Maravanthe beaches.

Raghavendra requested the minister to sanction Rs 14 crore for the development of Mookambika railway station under help to central agencies to develop fundamental infrastructure of tourism centres scheme.

Responding to the request of MP Raghavendra, minister Kishen Reddy assured to take necessary action as per the information that is available.
